Royal Purple

Well, it's official. Today I spent more for an oil change than I've ever before. 125.00 for everything from Royal Purple 5w30, Royal Purple 75w90 for the manual trans and rear differential. The things I do for this truck, now I can't by shoes, oh well.

Exterior Color

Now I'm not one for dark vehicles anymore since the Durango fiasco of 2007, but I can't get this out of my head. This is what color I see when I close my eyes and picture my taco...

Wish List... Leather Interior

There's no doubt about it, a leather interior rocks no matter what it's in. You can transform a Pinto into a pearl with leather interior. This is the direction I would like to see myself going in:

• 4x4 Toyota Tacoma bucket seats
• Custom center console
• Black and charcoal gray leather interior
• Billet aluminum steering wheel with a black leather half wrap
• Undecided on the shifter knob, but so far black leather is where I want to be

I'm sitting here working and this place is so slow. I'm about to hit my head on the wall as hard as I can just so I can pass out until my relief gets here.

Build List Outline

Well, I started this blog to document my trials and tribulations with building this 1996 Toyota Tacoma in order for you all to know what I'm going through and to pass on any information that I learn over the whole process, I'd also like your feedback on how things are going and maybe even some suggestions, but not likely, I know pretty much how I want this thing to turn out already in my head.
